How
to Order a Portrait
Describe to Deanna what you have in mind. Request: Oil Painting, Pastel
Painting, or Pencil Drawing and size. Mail or
e-mail
Deanna several good reference photos so she can give you a price. Detailed photos taken in good
lighting are an important aid in the painting process. (Please provide as many
photos as possible for reference). When you don’t have enough photos, a 35mm
or digital camera is all you need.
Take photos in the afternoon to avoid harsh shadows. Overcast days give an even light
source with lots of detail. Indoor photos should be taken in natural light
without direct flash. North light is preferred. Deanna will travel to your
location and take photographs if necessary. Additional costs may apply.
